About Kenneth J Logan

Kenneth J. Logan, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. He severed as Interim Chair of the Department from January 2020 through the Summer Semester, 2021. He also served as Graduate Program Director for the MA-CSD degree program in speech-language pathology for many year. Dr. Logan’s primary areas of expertise include fluency disorders (stuttering) and speech sound disorders. Prior to joining the UF’s faculty, he worked as a speech-language pathologist in the public school setting and as a clinical educator/director in a university clinic setting. He is the author of the textbook Fluency Disorders, which is now in its 2nd edition. He also is co-author of the Test of Childhood Stuttering and the forthcoming 5th edition of the Stuttering Severity Instrument. He is past President of Wyoming Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and has served on a number of ASHA committees over the years.
