The faculties of the Rehabilitation Sciences PhD Program and the Master of Public Health Program in the College of Public Health and Health Professions have approved a non-traditional PhD-MPH degree program. Under the non-traditional degree program, a student can obtain both degrees in approximately one year less than it would take to obtain both degrees if pursued consecutively. More information about the MPH curriculum and six areas of study is available on the UF Master of Public Health website.
Candidates for the program must meet the entrance requirements for and be accepted by the PhD and MPH programs. Students may apply to both programs simultaneously, or they may enter one degree program and apply to the other at a later date. The nontraditional degree program is not open to students who have already earned one degree.
