Two new students are welcomed to the Rehabilitation Science Doctoral program

The Rehabilitation Science Doctoral Program would like to welcome our newest students, Raghuveer Chandrashekhar and Remya Kunnath Ravindranunni!

Raghuveer Chandrashekhar

Mentor: Hongwu Wang, PhD

Raghuveer is a trained mechanical engineer, having earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University. He brings a solid background in modern product design, robotics, principles of human movement, research design, data analysis, prototyping, and 3D printing design for manufacturing. He followed his mentor, Dr. Wang, from the University of Oklahoma where he was a PhD student in Allied Health Sciences.


Remya

Remya Kunnath Ravindranunni

Mentor: Rebecca Willcocks, PhD

Remya is a physical therapist with more than ten years of experience working primarily with neurological diseases and injuries in the pediatric population. She earned a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Calicut and a Master of Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Most recently, she was an associate professor and head of the physical therapy unit in the Department of Neurosciences at Abhinav Bindra Sports Medicine and Research Institute.
