Chatterjee receives Pepper Scholar status

Congratulations to Sudeshna Chatterjee, PhD, post-doctoral associate in the Dept. of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science alumna, for receiving Pepper Scholar status and funding by the University of Florida’s Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center (OAIC). OAICs are NIH-funded research centers that seek to increase scientific knowledge to allow older adults to maintain or restore their independence. Pepper Scholar status is competitively awarded to highly qualified early-career scientists. Dr. Chatterjee’s funded project is titled “Investigating COMT genotype association with mobility decline and falls in older adults.”
