A night at the museum

The Center for Respiratory Research and Rehabilitation hosted its 4th Retreat on January 17.  The event was held at the Florida Museum of Natural History and included an overview of the Center from Director Gordon Mitchell, research poster presentations from 30 trainees, and short presentations from 17 faculty.  In his “state of the center” remarks, Dr. Mitchell highlighted that the Center has more than 22 actively funded faculty, who successfully competed for more than $17.5 million in extramural research funding during the past year. The theme of the evening was, “Improving health, one breath at a time.”
