Kamalamma among top winners at PHHP Research Day

Kavya Kamalamma, a second-year Rehabilitation Science Ph.D. student, was one of the top two oral presenter winners at the 2018 PHHP Research Day.

The College of Public Health and Health Professions hosted its 31st annual Research Day in conjunction with Public Health Day on April 6, featuring 176 poster and oral presentations by undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and associates.

Kavya Kamalamma, a second-year Rehabilitation Science Ph.D. student, was one of the top two oral presenter winners. Her presentation, Characterization of walking performance and prediction of loss of ambulation in Duchenne muscular dystrophy, won a $750 travel award. Congratulations, Kavya! Keep up the great work!
