Dr. Ranu Jung, an international leader in biomedical engineering, presented her talk, “Biohybrid systems for restoring function after trauma” for the Rehabilitation Science Seminar series last week. Dr. Jung is the Chair of Biomedical Engineering Chair at Florida International University, and she provided an overview of her first-in-man clinical trial aimed at providing sensation to prosthetic limbs of amputees. It was a great privilege to have her present to the rehabilitation science community at the University of Florida.
