Three Students Awarded Travel Grants

Congratulations to Harneet Arora, Caitlin Banks, and Pallavi Sood! Each received a $250 travel grant from the Rehabilitation Science Steering Committee to present their research at national conferences.

Harneet’s poster titled “Longitudinal decline in functional performance in ambulatory boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy” was accepted for presentation at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting in February 2016.

Caitlin will be presenting on “Exaggerated Modulation of Dorsiflexor MEPs During Plantarflexion Correlates with Gait Dysfunction Post-stroke” at the Combined Sections Meeting.

Pallavi recently presented her work on “Defining Self-Efficacy for the Self-Management of Chronic Conditions and Identifying Priority Sub-Domains: Web-based DELPHI Technique”  at the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.
