Rehabilitation Science student, Alison Barnard, was recognized for her poster presentation at the World Muscle Conference held in Brighton, England September 30th – October 4th. Her poster, titled “Genetic polymorphisms modify intramuscular fat accumulation in Duchenne muscular dystrophy.” was one of 12 posters selected from over 400 to be presented orally at the conference. Additionally, Alison was also the recipient of a “runner-up” award for Best Oral and Poster Presentation.
