PhD Student First Author on Two Book Chapters

TaborLauren Tabor, current Rehabilitation Science student, recently published two book chapters based on her expertise on the area of neurodegenerative disease and swallowing. The first chapter, “Manual 7 Living with ALS: Adjusting to Swallowing Difficulty”, was written for a patient education perspective. The second, “Neurodegenerative Disease” was written for a graduate level textbook titled Dysphagia. Both chapters were written with her mentor, Dr. Emily Plowman and based on research they are completing in the Neurormotor Speech and Swallowing Restoration Laboratory.
