Research Description
Examine methods to teaching problem
solving using single subject design. Traditional methods to teach
problem solving include verbally describing how you will react in an
emergency situation in the community. The rehabilitation community
knows too well that what we say we will do and what we actually do
are different. So what recommendations do we give to friends and
family members of someone who has sustained a traumatic brain
injury? This research will examine techniques that demonstrate
problem solving in simulated environments as well as in the
community.
