Rehabilitation Science PhD student, Abhinandan Batra, received a best poster award at the New Directions in Biology and Disease of Skeletal Muscle Conference in Orlando, Florida. His poster was titled Relationship between Cardiac Muscle Involvement and Lower Limb Muscle Composition in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).In addition to a cash prize, his next grant submission to the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be fast-tracked.
